the research group is part of the IGBMC – Institut de Génétique et de Biologie Moléculaire – located in Illkirch, near Strasbourg in France.
IGBMC is one of the most important molecular biology research centre in France and its reputation goes far beyond the country borders and reaches colleagues worldwide.
The Illkirch “Parc d’Innovation” hosts 3 engineering schools, the Faculty of Pharmacy, and 3 academic major research centres as well as a hundreds of private companies. This an exceptional scientific environment.

With over 7000 people, belonging to diverse institutions dedicated to Research and Teaching: INSERM, CNRS, University, Strasbourg and the France East region is an extremely active center in Scientific Research. Many domains are covered with a special emphasis on Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
